Crispy Beef Flatbread Wrap with Burrata Cream

Crispy Beef Flatbread Wrap with Burrata Cream is a warm, hearty wrap packed with spiced ground beef, cool vegetables, creamy burrata sauce, and sweet chili honey. It comes together quickly and makes a bold lunch or easy dinner when you want something crisp, creamy, fresh, and a little spicy.

Ingredients

Scale

For the beef

  • 400 g ground beef
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • ½ tsp cumin
  • ½ tsp oregano
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

For the burrata cream

  • 1 ball burrata
  • 2 tbsp cream or Greek yogurt
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Pinch of salt

For the wrap

  • 3 to 4 flatbreads or pita
  • 1 cup arugula or lettuce
  • 1 tomato, sliced
  • ½ cucumber, sliced
  • ¼ red onion, thinly sliced

For the chili honey

  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 to 2 tsp chili flakes or hot sauce

Optional

  • Fresh parsley or mint
  • Crushed nuts

Instructions

  1. Brown the beef: Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium high heat. Add the ground beef and cook for 6 to 8 mins, breaking it up, until browned with crisp edges.
  2. Season the beef: Stir in the garlic, paprika, cumin, oregano, salt, and pepper. Cook for 1 to 2 mins until the garlic smells fragrant and the spices coat the beef.
  3. Make the burrata cream: Blend the burrata, cream or Greek yogurt, olive oil, and salt until smooth and creamy.
  4. Mix the chili honey: Warm the honey just until loose, then stir in the chili flakes or hot sauce.
  5. Warm the flatbreads: Heat the flatbreads or pita until soft and flexible so they fold without cracking.
  6. Assemble the wraps: Spread burrata cream over each flatbread, then add crispy beef, arugula, tomato, cucumber, and red onion. Drizzle with chili honey, add herbs or crushed nuts if using, wrap tightly, slice, and serve right away.

Notes

Let the beef sit undisturbed for the first couple of mins so it browns instead of steaming. Store the beef, burrata cream, vegetables, and flatbread separately for up to 3 days, then assemble fresh for the best texture.
